Deborah & Kevin
Kevin flew from Puerto Rico to the beautiful vibrant green campgrounds of Star Lake Camp located in New Jersey where he proposed to Deborah. Star Lake Camp is a campground that resonates deeply with the couple as it was the place they first met and laid eyes on each other.
Deborah and Kevin are active members in the Salvation Army, always giving their time to helping those in need and participating in different activities that deal closely with children. Star Lake Camp gave the couple the opportunity to bond over their mutual love for God.
Kevin hired us to take full control of planning his special day. One of Kevin’s concerns was how the space could be re-imagined to be more appropriate for a proposal. That is where we stepped in and worked closely with Kevin to talk through every minor detail. We wanted Kevin to fly to New Jersey and not have to worry about a single thing. It was our job to focus on all the logistics.
While all the planning was going on, Deborah was completely unaware that Kevin had flown out all the way from Puerto Rico. Deborah’s entire family and friends were in on it and she was left in the dark.
When Kevin kneeled down in front of the cabin where he asked Deborah to be his girlfriend years ago, Deborah immediately said “Yes!” crying tears of joy and happiness.
Kevin later thanked us for controlling everything and letting him enjoy the day with his future wife. That is what we strive to do, for couples to have the benefit of being in the present moment and not having to worry about anything else.
